Job summary

Daval Associates in Mansfield is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing team. You will perform night-shift deliveries with trailer swaps to RDCs, without unloading, and benefit from an immediate start if you fit the criteria.

The role requires a Class 1 licence with DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card, a clean background, and up to 6 penalty points, along with a positive, self-motivated attitude for night work and self-management.

Qualifications

• Requires full C+E (Class 1) licence with DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening.
• Must successfully complete a driving assessment and have a maximum of 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Night shift work covering any 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
• Deliveries to RDCs with no unloading required.
• Trailer swaps during shifts and coordinating with operations.

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR CLASS 1 DELIVERY DRIVERS!

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing team in Mansfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified Class 1 licence holders looking to build their career.

About the Role

Night shift work covering any 5 days out of 7, including weekends. The role involves trailer swaps and deliveries to RDCs, with no unloading required. You will benefit from 24/7 operational support, ensuring you are never on your own while on shift. Immediate starts are available.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold a full C+E (Class 1) licence along with a valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• You must be able to pass a background check, be willing to undergo drug and alcohol screening, and successfully complete a driving assessment.
• A maximum of 6 penalty points is accepted.

Pay & Benefits

• £159 per shift, paid regardless of hours worked, with the average shift lasting approximately 10 hours.
• The role includes 28 days of holiday entitlement. Bank holidays are standard working days, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, leaving 26 days available to book.
