Job summary

Simple Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a reliable HGV Class 1 Night Driver for our Mansfield team. You will perform night-time deliveries to RDCs with trailer swaps and no unloading, on shifts covering 5 days out of 7.

You must hold a full C+E licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph Card, pass background checks and screening. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates with up to 6 penalty points.

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR CLASS 1 DELIVERY DRIVERS!

We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our growing team in Mansfield.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced drivers and newly qualified Class 1 licence holders looking to build their career.

About the Role

• Night shift work covering any 5 days out of 7, including weekends. The role involves trailer swaps and deliveries to RDCs, with no unloading required. You will benefit from 24/7 operational support, ensuring you are never on your own while on shift. Immediate starts are available.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold a full C+E (Class 1) licence along with a valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card. You must be able to pass a background check, be willing to undergo drug and alcohol screening, and successfully complete a driving assessment.
• *A maximum of 6 penalty points is accepted.

Pay & Benefits

• £159 per shift, paid regardless of hours worked, with the average shift lasting approximately 10 hours.
• The role includes 28 days of holiday entitlement. Bank holidays are standard working days, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day, leaving 26 days available to book.
