Job summary

Driver Hire Nottingham in Beeston is seeking a Class 1 Night Driver for regular night work. You will operate a Class 1 HGV to various delivery locations, unload cages, and perform delivery checks while delivering a professional service.

Shifts start between 01:30 and 03:30, with Monday–Friday or Monday–Saturday options, at a night rate of £24.50 per hour. You’ll be responsible for safe, timely deliveries and adherence to Health & Safety regulations, with a focus on reliability and customer

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) UK driving licence.
• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Right to work in the UK.

We are currently recruiting Class 1 (HGV C+E) Night Drivers to work for one of our fantastic clients based in Beeston, Nottingham.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular night work, with the choice of working Monday to Friday or Monday to Saturday.

The Role

As a Class 1 Night Driver, your main responsibilities will include:

• Driving a Class 1 HGV to various delivery locations.
• Delivering goods safely and efficiently.
• Unloading cages at each delivery point.
• Completing vehicle and delivery checks.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
• Following all relevant Health & Safety and driving regulations.

Shift Details

• Start times between 01:30am and 03:30am
• Monday to Friday OR Monday to Saturday
• Regular ongoing work available.
• Night driving.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) UK driving licence.
• Have a minimum of 12 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Hold an in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be reliable, punctual and professional.
• Be comfortable with manual handling and unloading cages.
• Have a good understanding of UK road and driving regulations.
