Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for an ongoing Maidstone-based role, covering depot-to-depot runs to Birmingham. Shifts run Monday to Friday with a 16:30 start and 10-hour days, and you will receive regular weekly bookings.

We offer consistent work with weekly pay and well-maintained vehicles, supported by a dedicated transport team. Applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E), Driver CPC, tachograph card, and a clean licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours, working time regulations and road transport legislation.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive a curtain-sided vehicle between depots (Maidstone to Birmingham).
• Perform load straps and securing operations.
• Adhere to Monday–Friday schedule with 10-hour shifts starting 16:30.
• Engage with customers and maintain professional conduct on route.
• Contribute to a safe, compliant and efficient transport operation.

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C +E) Drivers for an ongoing position based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with regular weekly bookings.
