Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is actively seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 driver for ongoing trunking work from Hythe, Kent to the Midlands. Routes include Solihull, Derby and Coventry, with occasional relocations as needed.

You will operate curtain-sided trailers, complete CMRs and transport documents, and comply with Driver Hours regulations to ensure timely, safe deliveries. This is a full-time, ongoing role offering regular trunking work, immediate start, and consistent shifts of

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with curtain-side trailers.
• Experience in trunking and long-distance routes.
• Good knowledge of Driver HoursRegulations.

Pay: £17ph with accrued holiday, £20ph - £21ph including holiday

We are currently recruiting an experience

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for ongoing work with our established client based in

Hythe, Kent.

This is an ongoing opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for

regular long-distance trunking work. Routes primarily cover the

Midlands, including

Solihull, Derby and Coventry.

The majority of the work is trunking, with occasional delivery drops depending on the route.

Previous Class 1 driving experience, curtain-side experience and CMR documentation experience are essential.

The Role

HGV Class 1 trunking from Hythe to the Midlands.

Regular routes to Solihull, Derby and Coventry.

Predominantly trunking with occasional delivery drops.

Operating curtain-sided trailers.

Completing CMRs and associated transport documentation.

Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Working within Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.

Maintaining a professional service at all times.

Requirements

Valid UK

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
