Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for ongoing, full-time trunking work based in Hythe, Kent. Immediate starts available with Monday–Friday shifts and 10–15 hour days.

Routes focus on the Midlands (Solihull, Derby, Coventry) with regular trunking and occasional drops. Applicants must have curtain-side experience, CMRS documentation experience, CPC, and Tachograph Card, and comply with Driver Hours laws.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.

HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E)

Location: Hythe, Kent
Pay: £17.00-£21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday, Ongoing
Shift Length: 10-15 hours

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing work with our established client based in Hythe, Kent.

This is a genuine ongoing opportunity for an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for regular long-distance trunking work. Routes primarily cover the Midlands, including Solihull, Derby and Coventry.

The majority of the work is trunking, with occasional delivery drops depending on the route.

Previous Class 1 driving experience, curtain-side experience and CMR documentation experience are essential.

The Role

• HGV Class 1 trunking from Hythe to the Midlands.

• Operating curtain-sided trailers.
• Completing CMRs and associated transport documentation.
