Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for an ongoing role from Maidstone to Birmingham, with curtain-sided vehicles and strap duties. Monday to Friday shifts start at 16:30, 10 hours per shift, with regular weekly bookings.

The position requires a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, tachograph card, and up to 6 penalty points, plus a solid understanding of drivers hours and road transport rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and road transport rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive curtain-sided vehicle and strap loads.
• Maintain regular weekly bookings with Monday–Friday schedule.
• Comply with drivers hours and road transport regulations.

Location: Maidstone to Birmingham

Pay Rates:

• £20.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C +E) Drivers for an ongoing position based in Maidstone. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with regular weekly bookings.

Job Details

• Monday to Friday
• Start time:16:30
• 10 hour shifts
• Ongoing work with regular weekly bookings
• Driving a curtain sided vehicle and strapping
• Depot to Depot experience required

Driver Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving experience
• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences only
• Good understanding of drivers' hours, working time regulations and road transport legislation
