Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for an ongoing temporary delivery driver role supporting a major UK supermarket. You will deliver chilled and ambient loads (cages/pallets) across 1–3 store drops per shift, with night start times and paid breaks from day 1.

Hours include full-time and part-time options, overtime after 45 hours, and double pay on bank holidays. Onsite parking and a subsidised canteen are available at depots.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 driving licence.
• At least 6 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Weekend availability essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled & ambient loads (cages/pallets).
• Vehicle checks and tachograph compliance.
• Drive to client standards (training/coaching provided).
• Professional customer-facing approach at delivery sites.

The role
