Job summary

Aspion is seeking an experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our transport team covering the Liverpool area. The role focuses on safe, timely movements of containers and curtain-sided trailers during night shifts.

This position is ideal for a driver who is comfortable with night work, routes, and working independently, with CPC and tachograph compliance expected.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Dock Card is preferred but not essential.
• Experience with containers and curtain-sided trailers is advantageous.
• Ability to work nights and independently to tight schedules.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely during night shifts.
• Deliver and collect containers and curtain-sided trailers across ports and sites.
• Ensure deliveries are on time and paperwork is accurate.
• Maintain loads and comply with tachograph and hours regulations.
• Uphold health and safety standards and professional conduct.

Role Overview

Aspion are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join our transport team operating across the Liverpool area. The role involves the safe and timely movement of containers and curtain-sided trailers, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

This position is ideal for a motivated driver who is comfortable with night work, flexible with routes, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
• Carry out container and curtain-sided trailer deliveries and collections across ports, warehouses, and customer sites.
• Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within scheduled times.
• Secure loads correctly and ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate transport paperwork and delivery documentation.
• Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience

• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Experience with containers and curtain-sided trailers advantageous.
• Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Licences and Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
