Job summary

Gi Group are seeking experienced Class 1 drivers in Banbury for a well known company. The role offers pay of £22.00 per hour, rising to £29.33 after 50 hours. Assessments are paid if successful.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, starting 04:00am–07:00am. Duties include multi-drop palletised deliveries with 5–6 drops per day and 10–12 hour shifts. Applications require a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC, Digi Tacho, and clean penalty points.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 12 months driving experience.
• Current CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (excluding IN, MS, TT, DR or DD)

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop palletised deliveries from tail-lift to customers.
• Typically 5–6 deliveries per day.
• Average shift length 10–12 hours.

HGV Class 1 Driver - Key Duties

We need drivers with the below:

• UK, in date, Class 1 (C+E) licence with 12 months experience minimum
• Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN,MS,TT, DR or DD codes)
