Job summary

Gi Group are seeking an experienced Class 2 driver for a well-known client in Crick. The role involves 2–6 drops per shift, loading/unloading with a pallet truck, and long shifts of 10–12 hours.

Shifts run Tue to Sat, starting 03:00–06:00, with pay: £18.50/hour Mon-Fri and £20/hour Saturdays, both including holiday pay. Onsite parking and Gi Group benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• HGV2/LGV2 UK license with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
• Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho are required.
• Previous multi-drop experience is preferred.
• No more than 6 penalty points (SP only) accepted.

Responsibilities

• 2–6 drops per shift.
• Loading and unloading using pallet truck (pallets not heavy).
• 10–12 hours average shift length.

Class 2 pay rate:

• Monday to Friday £18.50 including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)
• Saturday £20. including holiday pay (PAYE only no umbrellas)

Shifts:

• 03:00-06:00 starts
• Tuesday to Saturday

Class 2 key Duties

• 2-6 drops per shift
• Loading and unloading using pallet truck (the pallets are not heavy)
• 10-12 hours average shift length

Requirements

• HGV2/ LGV2 UK issued License is required - 2 year's experience minimum
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• Previous multi drop experience is preferred
• Well presented and good customer service essential
• Willingness to load and unload using pallet truck
• No more than 6 penalty points (SP only, no other endorsements accepted)
