Job summary

Pertemps Heathrow is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a busy Hatfield operation with seven-day shifts and flexible day/night options. This role offers regular work, with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

You'll perform store deliveries into London, trunk between depots, operate Class 1 vehicles and complete daily vehicle checks, while following all procedures. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus at least 6 months Class 1 experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable and professional approach.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 (HGV C+E) Drivers to join a busy operation based in Hatfield. There is availability 7 days a week, across both day and night shifts, offering plenty of flexibility for drivers looking for regular work and the opportunity to earn through overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

The Role

The work is a mixture of:

• Store deliveries into London
• Trunking between depots
• Operating Class 1 vehicles
• Some handball required
• Completing deliveries safely and on time
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Following all relevant driving and company procedures

Pay & Hours

• Hourly rates ranging from £21.40ph to £28.89ph
• Enhanced overtime rates available
• Shifts available 7 days a week
• Both day and night shifts available
• Regular work available
• Immediate starts

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience
