Manpower UK is recruiting reliable Class 1 Drivers for a leading UK logistics organisation. Join a nationwide operation with regular work and competitive hourly pay. You will drive Class 1 vehicles on planned routes, perform pre-shift checks, and keep accurate records.

We value professional, reliable drivers with a good safety record and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Various shifts available across the UK.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E licence and Driver CPC required.
• Experience driving HGV in logistics or distribution.
• Cleaner driving record with limited penalty points.
• Good knowledge of UK road transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes.
• Transport mail and parcels efficiently to locations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Load and unload vehicles and complete paperwork.
• Work independently with the operations team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 years previous HGV driving experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
