Job summary

Barker Ross Group is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver for immediate start in Ellesmere Port. The role features 11-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with early starts between 6 and 8am, delivering to RDCs and industrial estates across the region.

12 months’ licence with CPC and Digi Tacho is required; applicants must have no IN10/DR10, and a maximum of six points. Onsite assessment will be conducted before shift start, with PAYE wages and holiday pay offered.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months on licence is required.
• CPC and Digi Tacho certifications must be valid.
• No IN10 or DR10 on licence and points must be 6 or fewer.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 on UK routes.
• Deliver to RDCs and industrial estates.
• 11-12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
• Option of tramper or day work.
• Starts between 6-8am.

Immediate start

Responsibilities:

• Option of Tramper or Day work
• Starts between 6-8am
• M-F
• No handball
• 2-4 drops daily
• Ongoing work
• Delivery to RDC and industrial estates
• 11-12 hour days

Qualification/experience:

At least 12 months on licence. Must have valid CPC and Digi Tacho
Driver must not have an IN10 or DR10 on licence and cannot exceed 6 points.
Successful candidate will need to pass driver assessment onsite prior to starting first shift
