Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 trunking drivers for roles in Dunstable. Successful applicants will operate trunking routes with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern, starting early mornings, and will perform standard vehicle checks and paperwork.

The position requires 2 years of commercial Class 1 driving experience, a valid UK DCPC, and a Digi-Tacho card. Candidates with up to 6 points are considered; certain endorsements are not accepted. Weekly pay and ongoing work offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ commercial Class 1 driving experience required.
• UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card are required.
• No more than 6 points; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements cannot be accepted.

Location: Dunstable

Pay Rate: £21.53 to £24.12 p/h

Shifts: 4 on 4 off rota 05:00 - 06:00 - start times

Experience: 2 years’ commercial Class 1 driving experience essential.

About you:

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 2 years experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
