Job summary

Gist Limited in Cumbernauld is seeking professional Class 1 Drivers to support the M&S operation this summer and beyond. You’ll be delivering stock safely and professionally to M&S stores, with a fast-paced but supportive transport team behind you.

You can expect 40 hours weekly with a 4 x Tuesday to Saturday rota, shift times from 15:00–16:00 or 02:00–03:00 during rotas, and a modern, well-maintained fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Professional and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver stock safely and efficiently to M&S stores across the network.
• Carry out vehicle checks and delivery documentation.
• Work safely and to planned schedules.

We’re growing our Lenziemill, Cumbernauld driver team and looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond

Shift Information

• Hours: 40hours
• Rota: 4 x Tuesday to Saturday / 9 x 8 week rotating pattern (any 5 from 7)
• Start times: Tuesday to Saturday - 15:00-16:00 / 8 week rota - 02:00-03:00

The Role

Store Deliveries

You’ll be delivering stock safely and efficiently to M&S stores while providing a professional service at every location.

What you’ll be doing

• Completing store deliveries across the network
• Carrying out vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules
• Representing Gist and M&S professionally on site

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience
• A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
• Professional and safety-focused approach
• Reliable, team-focused attitude
• Comfortable with manual handling where required
