Job summary

Gist Limited, part of the M&S Group, is hiring experienced Class 1 Drivers to support M&S stores in Chesterfield during the festive season and beyond. The role offers permanent employment, with 50 hours per week, and a modern fleet. Expect night and day shifts with premium rates and on-site parking.

You will perform vehicle checks, adhere to schedules, and liaise with the transport team to ensure timely deliveries. A valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and 18+ months experience are required.

The role at a glance

• Pay: £17.33 per hour + £2.34 unsociable pay per hour between 20:00-06:00 Premiums, Saturday is additional £1.23 per hour and Sunday is an addional £3.71 per hour Friday premium (from midday) is £1.
• Location: Chesterfield
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 50
• Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

Hours: 12 hour shifts

Rota: 8 week rolling rota

Start times Nights - 23:00 - 01:00

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What we're looking for

We're looking for experienced, reliable drivers who take pride in their work and put safety first.

You'll need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• A driving record that meets our safety and compliance standards
• A professional, safety-focused approach
• Confidence with manual handling where required
• Availability to work the advertised shifts
