Job summary

Gist Limited, part of the M&S Group, is hiring experienced Class 1 Drivers for Chesterfield to help stock M&S stores over Christmas and beyond. This permanent role offers regular hours, a modern fleet, and the benefits of joining the wider M&S family.

You'll drive trunking depot-to-depot, perform vehicle checks, complete delivery paperwork, and work safely to planned schedules. Valid Class 1 (C+E), Driver CPC, and 18+ months of Class 1 experience are required.

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Safety-first mindset and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Trunking role depot-to-depot deliveries.

At Gist, part of the M&S Group, we're looking for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our team at Chesterfield, helping us keep M&S stores stocked throughout the festive season and beyond. The role at a glance

• Pay: £17.33 per hour + £2.34 unsociable pay per hour between 20:00-06:00 Premiums, Saturday is additional £1.23 per hour and Sunday is an addional £3.71 per hour Friday premium (from midday) is £1.
• Location: Chesterfield
• Contract: Permanent
• Hours: 50
• Experience: Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience

We Currently Have Opportunities Across The Following Working Patterns

• Hours: 12 hour shifts
• Rota: 8 week rolling rota
• Start times: AM - 07:00-10:00
• Start times PM -15:00 - 18:00
• Start times Nights - 23:00 - 01:00

Additional shift premiums may apply depending on your working pattern.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced, reliable drivers who take pride in their work and put safety first.

You’ll Need

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC
• A driving record that meets our safety and compliance standards
• A professional, safety-focused approach
• Confidence with manual handling where required
• Availability to work the advertised shifts
