Job summary

Gist, part of the M&S Group, is recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for Crewe. This permanent role offers 40 hours per week with a base rate of £19.09 per hour plus shift premiums, and regular, stable hours within a modern fleet.

You'll deliver to M&S stores, perform vehicle safety checks, and work to planned schedules while representing Gist and M&S professionally. Opportunities include consistent hours and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Class 1 (C+E) licence held and valid.
• Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Safety-first and compliant driving approach.
• Comfort with manual handling where required.
• Able to work advertised shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned deliveries to M&S stores.
• Carry out vehicle and safety checks.
• Maintain schedules and liaise with transport team.
• Represent Gist and M&S professionally.

The role at a glance

• Pay: £19.09 per hour + shift premiums
• Location: Crewe
• Contract: Permanent

As one of our Class 1 Drivers, you'll play an important part in delivering everything from everyday essentials to festive favourites, making sure products reach M&S stores safely and on time.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Completing planned deliveries to M&S stores
• Carrying out vehicle and safety checks
• Working safely to planned schedulesKeeping in touch with our transport team

You'll need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Minimum 18 months' Class 1 driving experience
