Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Coventry is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver to perform multidrop deliveries, averaging up to six drops per shift and collecting returns from stores in line with operational requirements.

You will handle palletised goods and cages, loading and unloading safely, and maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office while delivering excellent customer service. A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement and valid tachograph cards are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multidrop deliveries, typically up to 6 drops per shift, and collect returns from stores as required.
• Handle palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous.
• Operate company vehicles safely and legally and ensure all required documents are completed accurately and on time.
• Work pattern: Any 5 days from 7, start window 02:00–04:00, 48 hours per week.

• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
  Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement

  You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an 'Any 5 days from7' pattern, with start time window of 02:00 to 04:00, contracted to 48 hours per week.
