Job summary

GXO Newark is hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our dedicated Currys transport team. You will deliver to retail stores nationwide, helping keep one of the UK’s largest electronics retailers stocked and moving.

We offer a full-time, permanent role on a 5 on 3 off pattern, with start times 16:00–20:00, 18:00–22:00, or 20:00–00:00, working up to 48 hours per week. Competitive salary and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements.
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable.

Here at GXO Newark, we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our dedicated Currys transport team. Every day, you will play a vital role in keeping one of the UK's largest retailers stocked and moving, helping products reach stores and customers nationwide.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a ‘5 on 3 off’ pattern, contracted to 48 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for the following start time windows:

• 5 on 3 off, with start time windows of20:00to00:00
• 5 on 3 off, with start time windows of18:00to22:00
• 5 on 3 off, with start time windows of16:00to20:00

What you will do on a typical day:

• Take the wheel of single and double deck vehicles, delivering products to retail stores across the UK, helping keep one of the nation's largest electrical retail supply chains moving
• Complete 2 to 3 deliveries per shift, transporting a mixture of palletised and free-standing goods while enjoying a varied day on the road
• Play a key role in ensuring products arrive safely, unloading goods at each destination with support provided for two-person lifts where required
• Represent the company with professionalism and pride, operating vehicles safely, legally and efficiently while maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
