Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is recruiting for multiple HGV class 1 Drivers (CAT CE) for TEMP-PERM with our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role resulting in a permanent position after 12 weeks.

Shifts run Monday-Friday with DAYS 06:00AM Start or NIGHTS 18:00PM Start and overtime paid after 8 hours. Immediate starts for suitable applicants and a chance to secure permanent employment after the initial period.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

HGV Driver - TEMP-PERM -CARLISLE

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 1 Drivers (CAT CE) for TEMP-PERM with our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role resulting in a permanent position after 12 weeks.

DAYS , TRAMPING AND NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE

The role involves operating a HGV Class 1 vehicle, doing RDC runs to various supermarkets. Handballing on some sites will be required.

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• Shifts run across Monday-Friday


• DAYS 06:00AM Start


• NIGHTS 18:00PM Start


• £17.00 PAY ADV Monday-Friday DAYS


• £18.00 PAY ADV NIGHTS


• £20.00 PAY ADV OVERTIME


• Overtime paid after 8 hours


• Average shift length 10-12 hours


• Temp-Perm after 12 weeks


• Carrying out daily vehicle checks


• Immediate starts


• Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally

What You'll Need:
