Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Nights Drivers (CE) on a long term ongoing basis in the Carlisle area. Great opportunity for steady, ongoing work with potential temp-perm after 12 weeks.

Shifts run Monday-Friday with start times from 18:00, averaging 10-12 hours. You will carry out daily vehicle checks and represent both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally. Immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude expected.
• Minimum 6 months of HGV driving experience.

This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role with a possibility of temp-perm after 12 weeks.

The role involves operating a HGV Class 1 vehicle palletised trunking.

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• Shifts run across Monday -Friday
• Start times from 18:00pm
• £21.84 per hour PAYE ADV
• Average shift lenght 10-12 hours
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Immediate starts
• Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally

What You'll Need:

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement
• Minimum 6 months experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
