Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Nights Drivers (CAT CE) for a long-term ongoing basis, with potential temp-perm after 12 weeks. The role involves operating a HGV Class 1 palletised trunking and performing daily vehicle checks.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times from 18:00, paying £21.84 per hour PAYE ADV. Immediate starts available and a professional representation of both client and Driver Hire Carlisle is expected.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times from 18:00.

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 1 Nights Drivers (CAT CE) on a long term ongoing basis, with possibility of a temp-perm with our well known and established client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role with a possibility of temp-perm after 12 weeks.

The role involves operating a HGV Class 1 vehicle palletised trunking.

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• Shifts run across Monday -Friday
• Start times from 18:00pm
• £21.84 per hour PAYE ADV
• Average shift lenght 10-12 hours
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Immediate starts
• Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally

What You'll Need:

• Full UK driving licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement
