Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 2 ADR drivers on a temp-perm basis with our well known client in the Carlisle area. This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver seeking steady, ongoing work with a view to permanent placement after 12 weeks.

The role involves operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle, delivering gas bottles to industrial and commercial premises on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern. Start times from 06:00am, with overtime paid after 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gas bottles to industrial and commercial premises.
• Operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.
• Adhere to site safety procedures.
• Represent Driver Hire Carlisle professionally.

This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role with a possibility of temp-perm after 12 weeks.

The role involves operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle , delivering gas bottles to industrial and commercial premises on a 4 on 2 off shift pattern

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• 4 on 2 off shift pattern
• Start times from 06:00am
• £37,852 per annum
• Overtime paid after 8 hours
• Average shift lenght 10-12 hours
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Immediate starts
• Representing both the client and Driver Hire Carlisle professionally

What You’ll Need:

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
