Job summary

Driver Hire Carlisle is currently recruiting for multiple HGV class 2 drivers (CAT C) in the Cockermouth area for a long term ongoing role with our well known client. Shifts run Monday to Saturday with 5 out of 6 days, start times from 02:30am to 06:00am, and overtime paid after 8 hours.

Pay is £16.00-£19.00 per hour PAYE ADV. This position offers steady work with potential temp-perm after 12 weeks and requires a full UK driving licence with Category C, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card,

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong understanding of site safety and procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle and deliver catering supplies to commercial and industrial premises.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks.

This is a great opportunity for a HGV driver looking for steady, ongoing role with a possibility of temp-perm after 12 weeks

The role involves operating a HGV Class 2 vehicle , delivering Catering supplies to commercial and industrial premises

The Role for a HGV Driver:

• Shifts run across Monday -Saturday
• 5 out of 6 days
• Saturday are required
• Start times from 02:30am-06:00am

• Average shift lenght 10-12 hours
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Immediate starts

What You'll Need:
