Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Avonmouth is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for full-time, permanent positions. You will deliver chilled, frozen and ambient goods to Co-op stores, operating vehicles safely and completing all paperwork on time.

The role requires a Full UK licence with C+E entitlement, a valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card, and no more than 6 penalty points. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including pension, dental, GP access, life assurance, and more.

Job description

Here at GXO Logistics, a leading name in supply chain solutions, we are currently looking for the full-time, permanent HGV Class 1 Drivers to become a part of our growing team in Avonmouth for our customer, UK supermarket chain and one of the largest food retailers, Co-op.

You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week on the shift pattern of Any 4 or 5 from 7 with the start time windows of 04:00-06:00, 06:00-08:00 and 08:00-10:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Comply with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
• Previous experience driving category C+E vehicles is desirable
