Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking part-time Class 1 Drivers in Preston to support a leading UK parcel distribution company. The role requires 12 months of Class 1 experience, a valid UK DCPC and Digi-tacho, and ensures WTD compliance while you travel to and from the site for shifts.

Shifts are afternoons and nights; Sundays and Fridays required with potential for more hours. The client offers competitive pay, weekly Friday pay, and a £150 retention bonus after 12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 Driving Licence and minimum 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must have a UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.
• Endorsements DD, TT, DR, CD, IN not accepted; up to 6 points may be considered.

About you

You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and be able to monitor and keep your working hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
