Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers in Ashington. You will shunt in yards and depots, perform trunk runs to other hubs, and carry out deliveries and collections. This is a customer-facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you represent the client and The Best Connection.

New passes are considered. An in-date Cat C+E licence with CPC and digi card is required, along with good communication skills and a positive attitude to customer care.

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit

HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers to work with their client in Ashington.

Our client produces and distributes all over the country from their production facility in Ashington.

The role:

• Shunting in the yard and across to other depots.
• Trunk runs to other hubs
• Deliveries & collections
• This is a customer facing role, so you must be friendly and professional as you will be representing both the Client and The Best Connection

The candidate:

• New passes considered!
• In-date Cat C+E license, CPC and digi card
• Smart appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude to customer care.

Hours of work:

• 06.00am start
• 4 on 4 off basis
• Ability to take additional shifts available

Pay Rates (First 12 Weeks):

• £16.00 per hour on Days (Flat Rate)
• £18.00 per hour on Nights (Flat Rate)
