Job summary

Millison Chase Ltd is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver role based in Avonmouth. The position offers a 4 on 4 off rota with dayshift work and a £19.00 hourly rate. Start times typically range from 03:00 to 05:00, with deliveries across a nationwide transport network.

You will perform curtain-side and tail-lift trailer duties, daily vehicle checks, and maintain a professional customer-facing service for store deliveries.

Qualifications

• UK Class 1 (CE) licence is required.
• DCPC & Digital Tachograph Card must be valid.
• Minimum 6 months HGV experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle dedicated retail deliveries with approx. 13 drops per shift.
• Operate curtain-side, box and tail-lift trailers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and liaise with transport office.
• Provide professional customer-facing delivery service.
• Assist with load securing and pallet handling.

Millison Chase are recruiting on behalf of a nationwide transport company for experienced Class 1 Drivers based in Avonmouth.

£19.00 per hour
4 on 4 off | Days

The role:

• Dedicated retail deliveries, typically 13 drops per shift
• Curtain-side, box & tail-lift trailer work
• Store waste collections and trailer movements
• Load securing, pallet truck operation & manual handling
• Daily vehicle checks and communication with the transport office
• Professional customer-facing delivery service

Youll need:

• UK Class 1 (CE) licence
• Valid DCPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 months HGV experience
• Reliable, safety-focused & customer-friendly approach
