Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wakefield is seeking a committed driver to manage multi-drop deliveries and contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation. You will handle a high-volume delivery route, unload at customer sites, and navigate stairs while maintaining safety and efficiency throughout each shift.

The role emphasizes physical endurance, adherence to transport regulations, and delivering a reliable service to pubs, clubs, and other customers across the region.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 or Class 1 licence with Driver CPC and tachograph card.
• 6+ months of recent driving experience is preferred.
• Willingness to perform a highly physical role and be on the move.

Responsibilities

• Handle between 4 to 20 drops per day, keeping the day varied and active.
• Manually handle goods, including unloading kegs of beer at customer sites.
• Deliver to cellars and navigate stairs while staying fit.
• Drive safely and in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive.
• Follow health and safety standards and comply with The Highway Code.
