Job summary

Driver Hire Blackburn is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Dray Drivers for ongoing work with a leading drinks distribution client in the Blackburn area. This role offers regular work, competitive pay, and the chance to work with a well-established transport operation.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of beer, wines, spirits and soft drinks to pubs, clubs and licensed premises across Lancashire and the North West, with scope for long-term assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and transport regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 vehicle with multi-drop deliveries to pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels and hospitality venues.
• Deliver keg, cask and packaged products.
• Work with a driver's mate where required.
• Load and unload deliveries safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and PODs.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.
