Job summary

Matthew Clark Ltd. is seeking a Multi Drop Class 2 Driver to deliver orders to customers’ premises with a Driver’s mate, within a defined geographic radius from the depot. You will uphold safety, accuracy, and on‑time delivery standards, and support with unloading and returns as required.

Shifts run Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work during peak periods. A valid HGV licence, CPC, and three years of driving experience are essential, with due diligence checks via DVLA.

Qualifications

• Over three years of driving experience with Class 2 experience preferred.
• Valid HGV licence and CPC
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake vehicle inspection checks.
• Ensure orders are secured and packaged for delivery.
• Liaise with Driver’s mate to review running sheets and orders.
• Inform customers of delays or stock shortages.
• Assist with unloading at customer premises.
• Collect returns and manage warehousing storage.
