An established Lloyd's broker with hubs in the City of London and Southend, Essex, is currently looking to recruit a Claims Technician / Broker to join their successful team.

Job Description

You will be part of a small team of claim specialists responsible for the effective recording and progression of international non-marine claims (open market & binders) through the entire lifecycle from notification to closure.

Our client is willing to provide training to develop skills and knowledge but requires at least 2 years of London Market claims experience.

Overview

1. Processing and monitoring claims, dealing with accounting issues and client inquiries.
2. Broking claims files into the market via ECF.
3. Reconciling paid claims to bordereaux.
4. Dealing with issues related to claims or accounts.
5. Updating paper files and electronic data.
6. Dealing with Bureau / Xchanging inquiries.

What you need to show...

1. Applicants need to demonstrate a working knowledge of ECF.
2. Use of Brokasure Desktop is ideal but not essential.
3. Good communication and organizational skills.
4. Adaptable and flexible.
5. Team-oriented attitude.
