Summary
Our client, a Lloyds Broker, is looking for a Claims Technician to join their expanding Claims department in the London office. The role involves processing and managing claims across the business.
Main Duties:
- Deal with Property and Liability claims
- Handle business mainly from US, Canada, and Australia
- Process Bordereaux via BinderCloud and GlobalXB
- Check and update information supplied by the TPA/Coverholders
- Ensure figures are correctly included on statements and in the database
- Set up and monitor loss funds
- Manage file documentation
- Set up new claims and oversee the process
- Use ECF/CLASS to set up, manage, and report claims to Underwriters
- Ensure individual and Bordereaux collections are processed
- Handle claims across Binders, Open Market, and Lineslips
Essential Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a similar Claims role
- Strong technical knowledge of dealing/processing claims within Lloyds/London market
- Proficient IT skills, including MS Office
- Experience with ECF
Desirable:
- Good organizational skills
- Knowledge of Global XB
- Understanding of Faster Claims Processing (FCP)
What you need to know:
- Permanent role
- Based in London - hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)
- Salary between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
