Overview

The role is to ensure the successful running, operation, and management of a team of Claims Managers and assisting the Head of Claims and Operations to ensure service targets are achieved by the smooth and effective running of the department. Service targets, key performance indicators, and performance management development of staff are all key objectives.

How you'll make an impact
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the team
  • Responsible for the overall running of the team
  • Collaborate with the Head of Claims and Operations and other Team Leaders
  • Conduct regular appraisals, staff development plans, and 1-on-1 meetings
  • Oversee workflow management
  • Manage a small client allocation of claims across different classes
  • Assist with general telephone queries when required
  • Carry out monthly quality management audits on team members and provide feedback
  • Assist with insurer audits
  • Participate in internal and external meetings with clients, insurers, and staff
  • Ensure market-leading claims service is provided to all clients
About You
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in claims, administration, or a senior operational role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Understanding of insurance business and operations
  • Proactive attitude towards challenging work
  • CII qualifications or willingness to complete them
