Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Support Technician in Cardiff/Birmingham on a hybrid basis. You will manage a repair-based portfolio, scheduling engineers, updating records, and ensuring timely repair progression while delivering excellent customer service.

The role emphasises liaising with customers, contractors and policyholders, handling calls and emails, and organising workload. Experience in a customer service office environment is preferred with proactive issue escalation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service office environment.
• Excellent communication skills with policyholders, insurers and contractors.
• Initiative to overcome challenges and escalate issues when needed.
• Contractor repair support experience is a plus.
• Experience with schedules of work is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a repair-based portfolio, setting up and overseeing repairs on our in-house claims system, scheduling engineers, updating records, and ensuring timely repair progression.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and clients via telephone and email; prioritise urgent requests and complaints.
• Maintain diary entries and monitor progress to ensure high-quality customer service.
