Davies is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join the Casualty team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Glasgow. You will deliver a proactive, first-class claims handling service to major clients and will receive full training and support to grow in a forward-thinking company.

Experience in property and liability claims is valued, with a focus on professional customer service, collaboration, and adaptability to changing requirements.

• Experience managing Claims from cradle to grave.
• Experience managing Property Claims.
• Experience with the investigation of Liability Claims.
• Knowledge of how to value injury claims.
• Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
• Collaborative team player.
• Management of personal caseload.
• Demonstrated adaptability and versatility.

Mansioni

• Liaison with insurers, policyholders, and brokers.
• Handle allocated claims, from desk or via field adjuster for on-site investigation.
• Obtain all relevant evidence and documentation.
• Determine appropriate actions to resolve each case.
• Prepare detailed reports, advising on indemnity, liability, quantum, and tactics.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits.
• Maintain proactive communication with all parties.
• Follow documented procedures and client requirements.
• Regularly review and maintain proper reserves.
• Stay updated on technical changes and participate in training.
