Job summary

Davies is seeking an experienced Claims Handler to join our Glasgow-based Casualty team. You will provide proactive claims handling for major clients, with full training and support to develop your expertise in this fast-moving environment.

You will manage a full claims lifecycle, from investigation through to settlement, delivering excellent customer service and collaborating across departments to improve outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cradle-to-grave claims.
• Experience with property and liability claims.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with insurers, policyholders and brokers.
• Investigate and handle allocated claims.
• Gather relevant evidence and documentation.
• Determine actions to resolve each case.
• Prepare detailed reports on policy indemnity and liability.
• Negotiate settlements within authority.
• Maintain proactive correspondence with all parties.
• Adhere to documented procedures and client requirements.
• Review and maintain proper reserves.
• Engage in company training programs to stay updated.
