Job description

Eames is currently working closely with a well-regarded Lloyd's Syndicate that is looking to appoint a Claims Manager in their First Party Claims team, on a fixed-term basis. This individual will handle a mixed caseload of lead international property D&F claims and lead a team of specialists.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver a first-class claims management service, representing the syndicate.
2. Manage large and complex claims efficiently, providing technical support to the first party team in collaboration with the Head of First Party Claims.
3. Regularly meet with internal and external stakeholders, supporting and leading meetings as required.
4. Allocate claims within the team, ensuring effective triage.
5. Liaise with stakeholders throughout the claims process, from notification to resolution.

Required Experience:

• 10+ years' experience handling Property claims in the London Market, including lead claims.
• People management skills are desirable but not mandatory for this role.
