We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Clinical Negligence Claims Manager to join our Claims Handling team within the Member, Cases and Claims division.
As our new Claims Manager, you will proactively manage an active clinical negligence claims portfolio, leveraging strategic thinking and handling files efficiently to achieve positive outcomes for members and the business.
This role offers varied responsibilities in managing both medical and dental claims, suitable for qualified solicitors or experienced Claims Handlers. You will engage with diverse claims, provide insights to members, and collaborate with panel firms. It’s an opportunity to grow your career and make a meaningful impact.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team, success depends on building trusting relationships with internal stakeholders, including Claims Assistants, Claims Managers, and Technical Consultants, as well as external panel firms. Effective collaboration and proactive workload management are essential.
You will develop your claims portfolio across various complexities, values, disciplines, and jurisdictions, supported by a technical development framework. Additionally, you will coach and support colleagues.

The Claims Team manages claims from inception to resolution, including instructing external solicitor firms when necessary. Our Medicolegal and Dentolegal Consultants also contribute clinical input.
