Job summary

Capio Recruitment Insurance is seeking a Claims Administrator in Bridgend to support clients through the claims process. You will report new claims, gather information and liaise with insurers and third parties, keeping records accurate and clients updated throughout the lifecycle.

Experience in claims is helpful but not essential, as full training and funded CII development are provided. The role is full-time, with potential for a four-day arrangement and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative roles within insurance is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly via telephone and email.
• Strong attention to accuracy and records management.
• Follow structured processes and maintain organised files.
• Claims, insurance or financial services exposure is advantageous.
• Employer support for CII qualification is available.

Responsibilities

• Report new claims promptly to start the process.
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters and third parties for updates.
• Keep clients informed with regular progress reports.
• Coordinate communication between clients, insurers and other parties.
• Maintain accurate records and correspondence for the claims file.
• Escalate complex cases to senior colleagues when required.
