Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in Coventry is seeking an organised Insurance Claims Administrator to join our in‑house Insurance team on a hybrid basis. You will log and manage a portfolio of insurance claims (motor, public liability/personal injury and more), delivering accurate administration and a professional service to policyholders, insurers and third parties.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims administration and customer service.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Log and process new insurance claims accurately.
• Manage claims lifecycle through to settlement.
• Review policy documents for cover and claim validity.
• Request, gather and verify supporting documentation.
• Validate claims against policy terms and conditions.
• Communicate with claimants, insurers and brokers via phone/email/webchat.
• Maintain up-to-date records in databases and case systems.
• Assist with assessment and valuation of claims using reports and evidence.
• Support negotiations and settlements where appropriate.
• Identify potentially suspicious claims and refer for investigation.
• Ensure work complies with GDPR and regulatory requirements.
