Description

We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our market-leading, lawyer-led claims handling service in our CSG team.

This role is based in Newport. Initially, you will work in the office 5 days a week during your probation period, then transition to a flexible hybrid working pattern.

What you will do
  • Manage a varied caseload of volume pre-litigated work.
  • Assess claims to determine fault and appropriate compensation within authority limits.
  • Resolve claims through negotiation and litigation, maintaining client service standards.
  • Maintain communication with clients and their customers, managing expectations proactively.
  • Meet individual performance targets related to financial and quality metrics.
  • Uphold the DAC Beachcroft brand and standards.
Who you are

No prior experience as a Claims Handler or legal qualification is necessary. We welcome applicants with customer service or retail experience, school leavers, or graduates who are team players and eager to learn.

You Will Have

  • Organisation skills: Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong communication abilities for liaising with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues.
