Job Description

The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated and Low Value Litigated Motor Claims for our Corporate clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims up to £100k, including high value/complex matters from inception to settlement.
  • Manage litigated motor claims up to £100k.
  • Identify cases for early litigation with high prospects.
  • Support delivery of high levels of service and productivity.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent service.
  • Accurately input and maintain data.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Mentor and support team members, serving as a technical referral point.
Working Hours:

35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. Hybrid role: 1 day in-office, 4 days remote.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
  • Full claim cycle experience, from initial assessment to settlement negotiation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support new starters.
