Qualifications

Location: Liverpool

Description

Are you ready to open new doors in your legal career? We are seeking a Claims Handler (CH3) to join our Liverpool team. The Claims Handler will manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, including Personal Injury (PI), from inception to settlement.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims, including PI, efficiently from inception to settlement.
  • Support the delivery of high levels of service and productivity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Accurately input and maintain data.
  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Mentor and train team members; serve as a technical referral point.
  • Audit files as required.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. The primary location is the Liverpool Office, with a hybrid working model (1 day in the office, 4 days remote).

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Experience with motor PI claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable.
  • Experience with the MOJ portal, stages 1 and 2.
  • Pre-litigation experience.
  • Experience handling claims outside of the MOJ and predictive cost regimes.
  • Mentoring experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support new starters.
