Job summary

Adecco Portugal is hiring a Claims Advisor for a Southend, Essex office-based role. You will manage claims for loss, theft and accidental damage, process refunds, and liaise with underwriters to resolve product queries. Full-time, 9am–5:30pm, permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage claims, covering loss, theft, and accidental damage.
• Process claims and refund requests after cross-training.
• Collaborate with underwriters on product queries.
• Work with all departments to ensure timely claim resolutions.
• Address and resolve sales and service enquiries.
• Process payments, including premiums and excess charges.
• Manage policy cancellations and engage in retention discussions.
• Record and manage first-line complaints in accordance with company procedures.
