Unum UK is hiring for a Claims Coordinator (entry-level) in Dorking or Basingstoke. This hybrid role requires about 8 days per month in the office. Salary is £26,000. You will join a supportive claims team helping customers through their claims journey with care and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering great customer service across telephone, email or in person.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident in learning new systems and processes.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Registering new claims accurately and efficiently
• Managing customer and broker enquiries via email and telephone
• Providing excellent customer service and keeping customers informed throughout the process
• Processing claims related administration and correspondence
• Supporting the management of long-term claims by reviewing ongoing cases
• Updating customer records and maintaining accurate information across multiple systems
• Managing shared mailboxes and workflow queues to ensure service levels are met
• Supporting colleagues across the wider Claims team with a variety of administrative tasks
• Looking for opportunities to improve processes and enhance the customer experience
