Job summary

Unum UK is seeking a Claims Coordinator in Basingstoke, operating in a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 days work from home) with a starting salary of £25,500. You will assess and manage dental and health claims from submission to settlement, delivering high-quality service to customers.

The role includes communicating across channels, reviewing information, explaining outcomes, and ensuring compliance with policy terms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service, administration or claims environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to make informed decisions.
• A positive, team-focused approach.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, or relevant practical experience.

What will you be doing? Location: Basingstoke Working Pattern: Hybrid, 3 days in 2 WFH Starting salary £25,500

At Unum, we're here to help people when they need us most. As a Claims Coordinator within our Dental and Health Claims team, you'll play an important part in delivering excellent service to our customers, ensuring claims are assessed fairly, accurately and efficiently from submission through to settlement.

We are seeking both a permanent Claims Coordinator and a 12 month FTC Secondment. You can be considered for both of these opporunities.

You Will:
