Allianz Management Services Ltd is hiring a Claims Data Science Product Owner to lead an agile data squad and shape ML/data product opportunities. The role is hybrid with monthly office attendance and a salary around £58,000 per year, reflecting experience and location.

You will own roadmaps, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive value delivery across IT and business teams, building data-driven strategies and governance principles.

Qualifications

• Degree in a numerate, scientific, or computing discipline (e.g. Data Science, Maths, Computer Science, Economics)
• Proven experience as a Product Owner delivering modern products in an agile environment
• Strong leadership capability with experience motivating, developing, and guiding teams
• Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels
• Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable business value through data or product initiatives
• Confident decision-making with a results-driven mindset
• Highly organised with excellent planning and delivery focus
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and influencing skills

Responsibilities

• Lead one of our Claims Data Science agile squads and shape data product opportunities
• Own and maintain product roadmaps and backlogs for timely delivery
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters to embed Agile principles
• Drive value delivery by tracking outcomes and business benefits
• Promote reporting, analytics, AI, and ML to enhance claims processes and customer outcomes
